AHSEC likely to conduct HS Final exams from last week of February, 2021

Oct. 8: Though there were speculations that the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) would perhaps conduct the Higher Secondary Final Examination, 2021 in the month of March, but a notification issued by the Council this week stated that the “Higher Secondary Final Examination-2021 is proposed to be held from the last week of February, 2021.”

In this connection, the process of online form fill-up for all categories of examinees such as Regular, Betterment Chance, Re-appearance Scheme, Certain Subject and other NIP candidates etc. will be started from the 1st of November, 2020 to 30th of November, 2020 and the hard copies of the statements, fees payment challans etc. must be submitted to the Council by the institutions concerned latest by 15th of December, 2020.

The AHSEC has directed all the Heads of the Institutions concerned are requested to intimate all categories of students in this regard so that no one is left out from the process of online form fill-up during the stipulated time period. It needs mention here that the AHSEC reduced the syllabus for students of Class 12 to ease the burden on the students following the coronavirus outbreak.
