গণজ্ঞাপন বিভাগে মতবিনিময় অনুষ্ঠানে অংশ নিলেন এম খালিদ

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১০ আগস্ট : আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের গণজ্ঞাপন বিভাগে সম্প্রতি এক মতবিনিময় অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়। বিভাগীয় কনফারেন্স হলে আয়োজিত এ অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশিষ্ট সাংবাদিক তথা বেসরকারি চ্যানেল টিভি১৮-এর উপ-সম্পাদক এম খালিদ।

সম্প্রচার ও মুদ্রণ মাধ্যম শিল্পে ২৬ বছরেরও বেশি অভিজ্ঞতা সম্পন্ন এম. খালিদ দেশের টেলিভিশন শিল্পের পরিবর্তিত রূপরেখা নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন এবং নীতিগত প্রতিবেদনের গুরুত্বের পাশাপাশি নতুন প্রযুক্তি এবং উদীয়মান সংবাদ উপস্থাপনা শৈলির সঙ্গে খাপ খাইয়ে নেওয়ার ক্ষমতা ও গতিশীল সংবাদ পরিবেশনের দক্ষতার ওপর জোর দেন। তিনি অনলাইন/অফলাইন সংবাদ, অনুবাদ কৌশল, স্ক্রিপ্ট-লেখা এবং নিউজ ডেস্কের বিভিন্ন কার্যকলাপ সম্পর্কে বক্তব্য রাখেন।

একটি প্রাণবন্ত প্রশ্নোত্তর পর্বে, শিক্ষার্থীরা ক্যারিয়ার, শিল্প প্রবণতা, প্রয়োজনীয় দক্ষতা ও মিডিয়া শিল্পের বিভিন্ন সাম্প্রতিক প্রবণতা সম্পর্কে খালিদের মতামত জানতে চান। এই মতবিনিময় অনুষ্ঠান পরিচালনা করেন বিভাগীয় প্রধান ডঃ চার্বাক। তিনি বিশিষ্ট সাংবাদিক খালিদকে শিক্ষার্থীদের সঙ্গে পরিচয় করিয়ে দেন ও শেষে প্রবীণ এই মিডিয়া পেশাদারকে অনুপ্রেরণামূলক বক্তৃতা প্রদানের জন্য ধন্যবাদ জানান।

way2barak, August 10 : Veteran multi-platform media professional and award-winning journalist and currently Deputy Editor at TV18 M. Khalid visited the Department of Mass Communication, Assam University, on Friday 8 August 2025 and interacted with the students of the Department.

Shri M. Khalid, who comes with over 26 years of experience in the broadcasting and print media industry delved on the changing contours of the television industry in the country and stressed on the importance of ethical reporting as well as adaptability with new technology and emerging news presentation styles, and storytelling skills in a very dynamic news landscape. He spoke on online/offline news, translation techniques, script-writing and the various activities of the news desk.

In a lively Q&A session, the students sought advice on careers, industry trends, essential skills and opinion of Shri Khalid on different recent trends in the media industry.

Earlier, the Head of the Department Dr. Charvak introduced Shri Khalid to the students and moderated the session and thanked the veteran media professional for his motivating session, calling it a valuable learning experience for aspiring journalists at the end.
