Inner Wheel Club Silchar donates smart TV along with dish tv for the female inmates at Central Jail

Oct. 10: Keeping up to their philanthropic activities, Inner Wheel Club (IWC), Silchar donated a smart television for the female inmates at Silchar Central Jail. On Sunday, members of the IWC went to Silchar Central Jail. There they felicitated Jail Superintendent Satindra Baishya. Then they visited the female ward where they gave food items to the children of the female inmates residing there.

“For entertainment of the female inmates and their children, we have donated the Television set along with Dish TV, which was sponsored by Rtn. JK Ghosh,” said Shilpi Ghosh, President of IWC Silchar. IWC also assured to undertake other welfare activities for the inmates of Silchar Central Jail.

Also present during the occasion were Vice President of IWC Silchar Moumita Gupta, Secretary Minu Gope, Archana Choudhury and Madhumita Ghosh.
