Inner Wheel Club Silchar distribute dress & food items among children admitted at Cachar Cancer Hospital

way2barak, Sept.19: On the eve of Durga Puja, the members of Inner Wheel Club (IWC), Silchar distributed new clothes and nutritious food items (milk & biscuits) among the children who are cancer patients and are admitted at Cachar Cancer Hospital, Silchar. On Monday, a delegation of IWC, Silchar members led by its President Sampa Banik went to the Cancer Hospital and spent time with these little children who are suffering from cancer.

As a humanitarian gesture, IWC, Silchar distributed new clothes to these little children so that they can wear them during the ensuing Durga Puja. The children were very happy to get the gifts. IWC Silchar also gave to the children milk packets and biscuits. Around 25 such children (cancer patients) were given the said items.

Apart from IWC Silchar President, Sampa Banik, also present were its Secretary Madhuparna Basak, Treasurer Moumita Gupta, along with members Debajani Roy and Sumitra Saha Banik.
