India reports 1,84,372 new COVID-19 cases & 1,027 deaths in last 24 hours

April 14: Breaking all previous records, 1,84,372 new COVID-19 cases were registered in India in the last 24 hours. This is the biggest single-day spike in coronavirus cases since the outbreak of the pandemic in 2020. The country further registered 1,027 deaths taking the death toll to 1,72,085. Further, 82,339 persons were also discharged in last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to 1,23,36,036. At present, there are 1,72,085 active cases in the country. As of now, 11,11,79,578 persons were vaccinated in India.
