If Pak attacks India, will Delhi or UP buy its own weapons? Kejriwal on vaccine procurement

May 27: Amid the 2nd wave of coronavirus pandemic, there has been an acute shortage of vaccine in the country. Kejriwal said that at a time when the country is at “war against Covid-19,” the state and centre should come together as “Team India” to fight coronavirus. He also urged the Centre to procure vaccines and distribute them to states.

Criticising the Centre on vaccine procurement policy, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “We can’t leave this issue to individual states. We are at war against Covid-19. If Pakistan attacks India, will the Centre leave states to defend themselves? Will Uttar Pradesh buy its own tanks or Delhi its own weapons?”

The Chief Minister vented out his ire against the Centre as vaccine companies have denied supplying their doses directly to the state government.
