If BJP remains in power, people need not have to worry about anything, says Parimal Suklabaidya
Jan. 26: Minister of Excise, Forest & Environment and Fisheries, Government of Assam, Parimal Suklabaidya, on Monday, said people will not have to worry about anything if the BJP remains in power in Assam. Speaking at a programme held at Loharbond Brojokishore High School’s premises, Suklabaidya said the Sarbananda Sonowal government has taken care of the common people, especially of those belonging to the economically weaker sections, by taking various remarkable initiatives for their growth and welfare over the past few years.
In Dholai Assembly constituency, connectivity has been developed immensely with construction of many new roads and repairing of old ones in the last four-and-a-half years. There has been commendable progress in various other sectors, he said and added that people will not have to worry about anything if the BJP remains in power in Assam.
The minister took a dig at the previous Congress government and said, “Congress made people suffer unimaginably” when it was in power in the state. “The Congress government did not take any initiative for the welfare of the common people. Most of the funds sanctioned for development projects were embezzled,” he said. Further, he appealed to the people of Dholai for their support and co-operation in the next election.
