If Assam Police does its job properly then the menace of drugs will not be there in the state: CM
June 3: In its war against drugs, Assam Police since the last few days has waged a war against drugs. Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma has pledged to make Assam drugs free. Speaking to journalists on Thursday in Delhi, the Chief Minister said, “If Assam Police does its job properly then the menace of drugs will not be there in the state.”

Taking to his twitter handle, the Chief Minister wrote, “The war against drugs will continue and @assampolice will carry out regular operations to bust the grave menace plaguing our society. Many families have suffered immensely due to this. We are going to make some important announcements regarding the issue in the next few days.”
