Huge tree falls on Silchar- Kalain road, traffic comes to a halt

June 17: Due to incessant rainfall, a huge tree fell on the Silchar- Kalain road on Friday morning resulting in closure of vehicular traffic. Many vehicles were stranded on that portion of the road. The incident occurred at Jatingamukh near Joynagar ME School. Efforts are on to remove the tree and clear the road.
