Post Covid complications takes away the life of Silchar youth Indrajit Choudhury
June 1: A 48-year-old man from Silchar who had recovered from Covid-19, died after being diagnosed with post-Covid complications. Indrajit Choudhury died in a Hyderabad hospital on Monday. Initially, he stayed with his parents at Ambicapatty and then resided also at Public School Road, Silchar. Indrajit Choudhury was known among his near and dear one’s in Silchar as Rajat.
A student of Adharchand HS School and then at GC College, Silchar, Indrajit later on shifted his ground to Guwahati in search of greener pastures. From Guwahati, he finally moved on to Hyderabad and involved himself in the world of IT. He was an achiever and had big dreams of starting his own venture in the IT sector. Finally, his dream came true and Indrajit Choudhury launched his own company ‘Slivers Infotech Pvt Ltd.’
Although Indrajit Choudhury was far away from Silchar, yet he had a close contact with his friends and relatives staying here. As per one of his relatives, Dwaipayan Bhattacharjee, Indrajit had kidney related problems and was on dialysis. In the meantime, he was detected as Covid-19 positive. Soon he got cured and was tested negative. But after some days, he developed post- Covid complications and finally breathed his last on 31 May. Dwaipayan Bhattacharjee further informed that, “Indrajit Chakraborty was not infected with Black Fungus, which is a sheer rumour.” Indrajit Choudhury is survived by his wife Arpita Choudhury, son Rihan Choudhury and a host of kith and kin. His death was deeply mourned by his friends in Silchar.
