HS & HSLC candidates should get vaccinated & then appear in their exams: CM Assam

Feb. 7: The Chief Minister urged upon the eligible HS & HSLC students to complete their vaccination before the start of their forthcoming examinations. This was stated by Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma during a press conference held at Janata Bhawan, Dispur on Monday. He further stated, “Life would be normal from 15 February.”

So what will happen to those students of HSLC & HS who will not be fully vaccinated before the commencement of their exams? To this, the Chief Minister said, “At this moment we are not going into this debate. We are expecting that all such students will get themselves vaccinated at the earliest before their exams. However, we will discuss this issue and let know atleast 10 days ahead of their examination/”

In view of the improving COVID-19 situation, Assam Government has decided to withdraw all restrictions from February 15. However, protocols for use of masks & sanitizers shall continue.
