Hrithik Roshan praises doctor on duty in COVID ward of SMCH for his beautiful dance

Oct. 19: “Tell Dr.Arup I’m gonna learn his steps and dance as good as him someday in Assam. Terrific spirit,” tweeted noted Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan. This was indeed an unbelievable incident for Dr.Arup Senapati of Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). Dr. Senapati immersed in a dance performance for around 10 minutes inside the COVID ward of SMCH in order to entertain the patients.

The video of his dance was tweeted by his colleague Dr. Syed Faizan Ahmed of SMCH, who wrote, “Meet my #COVID duty colleague Dr.Arup Senapati an ENT surgeon at Silchar Medical College Assam. Dancing in front of COVID patients to make them feel happy.” The video clip of the dance of Dr. Senapati which was tweeted by his colleague Dr. Ahmed was seen by Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan. The star immediately tweeted wherein he expressed the desire of learning the steps from Dr. Arup Senapati.

Well, this was beyond the imagination of young Dr. Senapati, who is doing his post graduation in ENT at SMCH. Hrithik Roshan from Mumbai tweeting about a dance performance by a doctor in Silchar is really something so terrific, that the performer doctor was totally mesmerized.

Dr. Arup Senapati hails from Shantipur in Guwahati. He has taken admission in MS course at SMCH this year. Last week, he was assigned duty in the COVID Ward. On Sunday, he tried to entertain the COVID patients by dancing in front of them. Prior to this, many other doctors also danced inside the Covid ward, but always such an incident like Hrithik Roshan appreciating the steps rarely happens!
