House of terrorist Zakir Ahmad Ganie razed in Kulgam

way2barak, April 26: Security forces on Saturday demolished the house of Zakir Ahmad Ganie, a terrorist allegedly involved in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 civilians dead. The operation took place in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, with visuals from the site showing the residence reduced to rubble.

This is the second such action in as many days. Earlier, the house of another accused terrorist, Ahsan ul Haq Sheikh, was razed in Pulwama. Officials say the demolitions are part of intensified counter-terror operations following the deadly strike in Pahalgam.

Zakir Ahmad Ganie is believed to have played a significant role in the planning or execution of the attack. While officials have yet to confirm his current whereabouts, the crackdown signals a broader effort to dismantle terror infrastructure and networks operating in the region.
