Himanta holds video conferencing with Drug Store Managers of all districts
April 23: Amidst ongoing coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown, the flow of essential commodities and medicines is the biggest challenge for the government. To ensure uninturrupted supply of drugs and important medicines, both the centre and the states are adopting a number of steps.
On Thursday evening, State Health Minister held a video conferencing with the Drug Store Managers of all the districts of Assam. The health minister in presence of the Minister of State, Pijush Hazarika inquired about the availability of important medicines in their respective stores. He further discussed with them the various challenges faced by them during the lockdown. Further, ways and means of dealing with the challenges in the wake COVID-19 were also discussed during the video conference.
