High risk delivery of COVID-19 +ve mother done successfully at Karimganj Civil Hospital

August 2: An expecting mother who was post dated from EDD, with rare blood group B negative was admitted at Karimganj Civil Hospital. She came for regular admission to O&G ward of civil hospital, but was diagnosed as covid positive in Rapid Antigen Test (RAT). It was a case of high-risk precious pregnancy, but the medical team successfully delivered a baby in the COVID hospital premises. The delivery was conducted by Dr. Gautam Sharma, Dr Rohit Das and team. Both the baby and the mother are stable and under observation.
