High positivity rate: 4 more Rapid Antigen Test centres to come up in Silchar

May 15: The positivity rate in Silchar is increasing at an alarming rate. In terms of Rapid Antigen Test (RAT), the positivity rate is almost 10 percent, which is quite high and naturally a matter of great concern. This was informed by Suman Choudhury, District Media Expert, Cachar on Saturday. Keeping this aspect in mind, the health department has now decided to come up with four more Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) centres in Silchar.

The four new RAT centres are:

1. Sri Pally LP School, Link Road: Name of ASHA- Jyotika Deb (6000094845)- Name of ANM- Paromita Das (7002597125).

2. Lalita Das LP School, Bilpar: Name of ASHA- Moina Bibi (7896814114)- Name of ANM- Aparna Paul  (9401238325).

3. Mahamaya LP School, Rongpur: Name of ASHA- Abola Das (7399734323)- Name of ANM- Deepshikha Das (7637950244).

4. Radhamadhab Buniyadi Patshala, Kanakpur: Name of ASHA- Shilpi Begum (9854225257)- Name of ANM- Purnima Nag (9101443972).
