Heroin seized, two arrested at Hmarkhawlien

way2barak, Sept 3: On the basis of a reliable source, a scooty was intercepted at Hmarkhawlien under Lakhipur Police Station coming from Manipur and during thorough search 4 no of soap boxes containing suspected to be heroin have been recovered from the possession of the rider and pillion rider (each possession have two soap box) weighing about 54gm and hence seized accordingly as per procedure. In this connection both persons namely Ngulkholien Khongsai, 32 yrs, Phaital village , tamenglong, Manipur and Ksiminthang Singson 32 yrs, Phaital village , tamenglong, Manipur have been apprehended.
