Heroin seized in Jirighat, one arrested

way2barak February 22: Today on 22/02/25, received a specific input from reliable source regarding NDPS storing in a house at kharjong bosti under Jirighaat Police Station owned by Lienkhosat kuki S/O-Lena Kuki Dist-Cachar. Accordingly search was conducted in the house and recovered 27gm of suspected heroin.The suspected NDPS substances were tested by DDKIT, seized and sealed with proper audio-video recording in presence of independent witnesses. Accused namely Lienkhosat kuki is apprehended. Numal Mahatta SP Cachar informs that the price of the narcotics substance in the black market is about 13.5 lacs .Further investigation into has been on.
