Heavy rainfall very likely over Assam & other NE states this week

Aug. 23: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday forecasted heavy rainfall in the northeastern states in the coming days. Thunderstorms and lightning are likely to occur in the northeastern states like Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.

Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura is  expected to witness massive rainfall during next 5 days. Despite the forecasted rainstorm, the daytime temperature degree across the northeast is probable to stay above normal.
