Heavy rainfall predicted in NE states including Assam till Thursday

June 22: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall activity in isolated places of the north-eastern states. As per the weather forecast, light to moderate rain might occur at most places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and at a few places over Arunachal Pradesh. Assam & Meghalaya are likely to receive heavy rainfall from Tuesday to Thursday.

Rain or Thundershowers with strong gusty winds are likely to occur in Silchar and its adjoining areas on Wednesday. As per the data released by IMD, South Assam is likely to experience cloudy sky with moderate rainfall on Thursday.
