Health condition of former Assam CM Prafulla Mohanta stable
Sept. 6: The health condition of two-time former Assam Chief Minister & Asom Ganara Parishad (AGP) leader Prafulla Mahanta is now stable. He has been undergoing treatment at Down Town Hospital in Guwahati since Friday night. As per reports, he suffered a mild stroke.
The former Chief Minister was admitted to a private hospital in Guwahati late on Friday night in a serious condition. A team of doctors is monitoring his health in the ICU.
Mahanta (68) is the founder president of the AGP and was the youngest CM of any Indian state when he donned the CM’s hat at the age of 33 in 1985. He became the Chief Minister for the 2nd time in 1996.
