128 grams heroin seized, 2 arrested in Silchar

way2barak, May 17: Based on a specific input, two persons namely Md. Ali (32) and Roshidul Rahman, (30) both of Village Chiriakhowa, Bandikhana, under Fakirganj PS of Dhubri Dist were apprehended at the entrance gate of the RPF Officers Rest House besides Silchar Railway station, Tarapur alongwith contrabands suspected to be heroine . The contrabands were packed in plastic soap cases figuring 10 nos and weighing about 128 grams. Numal Mahatta, SP Cachar informs these were duly seized as per procedures followed by necessary lawful actions.
