GTPL Hathway, NXT Digital along with Headlines Barak & RTv formally launched in Silchar

Feb. 28: Adding wings to the digital wishes and aspirations of 21st century Gujarat Television Pvt. Ltd. (GTPL) Hathway and NXT Digital- The Hinduja HITS Network started its formal journey in Barak Valley on Sunday. Both GTPL and NXT are the platforms which would revolutionise television viewing and functioning of hi-speed broadband internet facilities in southern Assam. Two local channels will be added facilities, which are GTPL RTv and Headlines Barak.

On Sunday evening, a formal function in this connection was organised at Banga Bhavan, Silchar. On the dias were Police Super of Cachar- BL Meena, Prof. Biswatosh Choudhury, Taimur Raja Choudhury, Niharendra Narayan Thakur, Mridul Mazumdar and Swarnali Choudhury. With the lighting of the candles by the dignitaries and two kids-Protiksha Roy and Purnonjoy Roy, the journey of these 2 platforms along with the two local channels made its formal beginning. The anchors, Sudarshan Gupta and Debomita Chakraborty provided the technical details of GTPL and NXT. This was followed by display of a promo news produced by Headlines Barak & RTv which was shown by means of a projector.

During the occasion, GTPL & NXT also felicitated Debashish Das, Manik Khan, Pranab Kr Dey, AA Mashud Azad, Gopal Deb, Piku Chanda, Ashim Deb, Dipak Pathak, Minati Das and Satyabrata Bhattacharjee. The programme was also graced by Paritosh Roy, Ranju Roy, Satyajit Banik, Ahmed Hussain Laskar, Nurul Islam Laskar, Ravi Shukla, Abhijit Nath, Biplob Das among others.
