CM Himanta Biswa Sarma to visit Silchar on the day of Maha Saptami

Oct. 11: Chief minister of Assam, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma will come on a one-day tour of Silchar on 12 October, that is, on the day of Maha Saptami. During the day, the Chief Minister will be attending Durga Puja programmes from 11 AM to 12.40 AM and then proceed towards NIT Silchar. There at NIT Silchar, Dr Sarma will attend a plantation programme.

At 3 PM, he will meet with officials of revenue department. He will then go for site inspection of Integrated DC office and a bridge over river Barak at Annapurna Ghat. In the evening, he will pay a visit to the residences of Bimal Nath Choudhury and Parimal Suklabaidya. The Cief Minister will also visit the puja pandals in the evening. He will stay at night at Circuit House and leave for Guwahati in the morning on 13 October.
