Goods train derailed at Ditokcherra, train communication disrupted between New Haflong & Badarpur

Jan. 8: A goods train got derailed at Ditokcherra station on Saturday morning leading to disruption of rail communication between New Haflong and Badarpur. Meanwhile, as per railway sources, all up and down trains between Guwahati and Silchar will also be detained at several station en-route. Railway task force has reached the spot and have started repairing the tracks caused by the derailment.
