GC College upgraded to state University: CM Assam
way2barak, Nov.29: Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma after the Cabinet Meeting on 29 November declared that the GC College to be upgraded to state University. However, further details regarding it will be declared soon.
Gurucharan College, established on 15th July, 1935 is recognised as one of the premier institutions in the field of Collegiate education. It has carved out a distinct identity of its own in the field of higher education in the eastern part of India.
