GC College Unit of ABVP organises open mike cultural program at Goldighi Mall

Jan. 28: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Gurucharan College Unit, Silchar organized an Open Mike Cultural Programme, entitled “Ek Shaam Desh Ke Naam” at Goldighi Mall, Silchar on 27 January to mark the 72nd Republic Day. In that programme NCC Sub. Major Shiv Karan, Sub Major B.B Gurung and Abhijit Nath Professor of Gurucharan College were present as guests.

At the outset, the Parishad Geet of Vidyarthi Parishad was sung which was followed by lighting of the lamp by Kisholoy Chakraborty, Secretary, ABVP Silchar Unit, Tarashankar Goswami- ABVP National Executive Council Member and Secretary & President of ABVP Gurucharan College Unit, Snehangshu Chakraborty, Bishal Nath respectively.

Many artists, singers and speakers showcased their talents in the programme. There were many spectators who witnessed the patriotic programme. The function lasted for around 3 hours.Bishal Nath, Secretary ABVP GC College Unit offered the vote of thanks. He thanked all members of the ABVP GC College Unit as well as the spectators and the managing committee of Goldighi Mall for making the occasion a grand success. The programme came to an end with the singing of the National Song.
