Gaurav Attacks Himanta For Being In India’s Richest CMs List

way2barak, 3 January: Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi has criticised Assam’s chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, for being among the wealthiest chief ministers in India. Gogoi highlighted this discrepancy by referencing a report from the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR). He pointed out the stark contrast between Sarma’s personal wealth and Assam’s development status.

Gogoi expressed his views on ‘X’, stating, “What was promised by the BJP chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma that Assam will be in the top 5 states in India in terms of development. Instead chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma himself is on the verge of becoming one of the top 5 richest chief ministers in India.”
