From 1 Aug, officers shall visit schools & hand over caste certificate to students of IX to XII

July 19: From 1 August, 2022, Assam government is going to launch a new project, entitled, Mission Bhumiputra. Under this project, boys and girls will no longer have to do rounds of government office in order to get caste certificates. As per the provisions of Mission Bhumiputra, the officers themselves will visit the schools and hand over caste certificates to the students of Class IX, X, XI & XII. This was announced by State Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma while addressing a gathering at Udalguri.
