Foundation stone of ‘Knowledge City’ by Creative Foundation laid at Srikona

Jan. 25: The foundation stone of a state of the art educational hub entitled ‘Knowledge City’ conceptualised by Creative Foundation was laid at Srikona in Cachar on 26 January, 2021. The ‘Knowledge City’, a new feather in the cap of Creative Foundation will include International Schools, College and Skill Training Centers and many other such institutes conducive for career development of the students of Barak Valley.

The foundation stone of this unique educational hub entitled ‘Knowledge City’ was laid by Swami Mrinmoyananda Maharaj of Bharat Sevashram Sangha in presence of former Union Minister Kabindra Purkayastha and Minister of Excise, Forest & Environment and Fisheries, Government of Assam, Parimal Suklabaidya.

Speaking about this venture, Kalipada Das, Chairman of Creative Foundation said, “The Knowledge City is a dream project of Creative Foundation which would transforms the dreams of the students of Barak Valley into reality. We believe in man-making education as envisaged by Swami Vivekananda. Further, it would also generate employment for the youths of this valley. I do hope that this ‘Knowledge City’ to be built at Srikona’s Lalmati in Cachar District will go a long way in paving the path of the youths of this region. ”
