Foundation stone of developmental works worth ₹10 lakh laid at Bhuban Hills
Jan. 16: Excise, Forests and Environment and Fisheries Minister Parimal Suklabaidya on Saturday trekked the Bhuvan Hills road to visit the historic Bhuvan Temple along with ex-MLA Rajdeep Goala & others.
The purpose of the visit was to formally inaugurate the developmental projects for the temple worth Rs.10 lakh funded under the Asom Darshan scheme. During his visit, the Minister also inspected the road at Bhuvan Hills which is being constructed at war footing. The project was funded under the flagship dream project initiated by Minister Suklabaidya worth Rs.10 crores with an additional support of Rs.95 lakhs also funded under the Asom Darshan scheme. Once developed, the road will also facilitate the movement of four wheelers over there.

The Minister also interacted with Bhuvan Temple Development Committee & assured them of all support for the overall development of the area & announced that the temple & it’s surrounding premises would be upgraded to a very attractive tourism spot very soon.
During the Foundation stone laying ceremony, Purba Dholai ZP Member Swapan Kumar Das, Bhuban Hills Temple Development Committee President B Nath, Coordinator Soumen Das, General Secretary Bivash Chakraborty, Narsinghpur Mandal BJP General Secretary Kamalesh Das among others were present.
