Foundation Day of Silchar DSA observed on Tuesday

May 26: The foundation day of District Sports Association (DSA), Silchar was observed on Tuesday. However, due to the ongoing lockdown augmented by the outbreak of coronavirus, the day was observed without and games and sports events. In the morning, the flag of Silchar DSA was unfurled by its President Babul Hore in the presence of its General Secretary Bijendra Prasad Singh and other committee members. However, all were seen to obey the COVID-19 advisory and had put on face masks. Maintaining social distancing, the sports lovers were there to observe the day. A minute silence was also observed in memory of those who lost their lives due to COVID-19.
