Forest Minister Parimal Suklabaidya inaugurates Assam Microfinance Incentive & Relief Scheme in Hailakandi

Feb. 7: Minister of State for Forests, Environment, Excise & Fisheries and also the Guardian Minister of Hailakandi District, Parimal Suklabaidya inaugurated the “Assam Microfinance Incentive and Relief Scheme – 2021” at the Hailakandi District Sports Association playground on Monday.

While addressing the gathering The Minister Suklabaidya said, “The Chief Minister of the state Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has taken a strong initiative to empower women financially. Our government is committed for the development of the state and is not seeking votes by giving false promises. Our government introduces itself not only in words but also in deeds.”

“Our government led by Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma realised the plight of the women borrowers who took loans for their financial needs and made 2.4 million women borrowers loan free in the state. Today, cheques will be officially handed over to 6,000 beneficiaries in Hailakandi district. 13,776 women borrowers will be loan free” mentioned Minister Suklabaidya.

Hailakandi MLA Zakir Hossain Laskar, Deputy Commissioner, Rohan Kumar Jha, Superintendent of Police Gaurab Upadhyay, BJP Hailakandi District President Swapan Bhattacharya and others were present on the occasion.
