Food packets distributed by Leo Club of Karimganj Youth

April 20: The nationwide lockdown has left many stranded without work. For many, it has become really tough to make their both ends meet. In order to help such people in distress, Leo Club of Karimganj Youth (the youth wing of Lions Club of Karimganj) on Monday distributed food materials among more than 60 needy persons of Suprakandi village in Karimganj. Each food packet contained rice- 2kg, dal-500 gram, oil- 200 ml, potato- 1 kg, and soyabean 250gm.

A total of nine members of Leo Club of Karimganj Youth were present during the food distribution. They are President of the Club Srinath Banik, Secretary Abhishek Chakraborty- Project Chairman, Bithika Choudhury, Sohan Biswas, Rimu Kumar Deb, Manojeet Dhar, Anirban Ghosh, Janmajit Acharjee and Rahul Biswas.

It needs mention here that Leo Club of Karimganj Youth also distributed food materials among more than 50 needy persons of Karimganj on 11 April, 2020. Each food packet contained rice-  2kg, dal-500 gram, oil- 200ml, potato- 1 kg, salt- 1 kg.
