Food packets distributed among the poor & needy

Nov. 21: Service to humanity is perhaps the greatest way to celebrate significant day’s in our lives. Such an instance was noticed on Friday when Cachar District General Secretary of International Human Rights Organization Mitali Das distributed food packets among the distressed people in front of Gol Dighi Mall, Tarapur Railway Station and Bharat Sevashram, Silchar. Sweets were distributed among around 40 distressed children.

Expressing her views, Mrs. Das said she felt it as a matter of great satisfaction to be able to celebrate her birthday along with the poor and the needy. It needs mention here that she is also the Mandal president of Greater Assam Bengali Development Association and Executive Member of Booth No.122, Ward No.25.
