Flood 2.0: CM Assam to visit Silchar & Karimganj on 1 July

June 30: Within a fortnight, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma is going to visit Barak Valley for the third time. The Chief Minister will arrive at Silchar Airport at 10.30 AM on 1 July, 2022 and straightway go to Karimganj. There at Karimganj, CM Dr Sarma would visit flood relief camp at Subhas High School and also the flood affected area of Gopika Nagar.

The Chief Minister would then come back to Silchar and visit relief camp set up at GC College. He will also take stock of the ‘langar’ organised by Bharat Sevashram Sangha and a health camp. He would then attend a cheque distribution ceremony of the deceased families at the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar.
