FIR lodged against ULFA leader for provocative statement against Bengalis

২৭ অক্টোবর : বাঙালিদের সম্পর্কে আপত্তিজনক মন্তব্য করার জন্য আলফা নেতা মৃণাল হাজরিকার বিরুদ্ধে মামলা দায়ের করলো সারা বড়োল্যান্ড বাঙালি যুব ছাত্র ফেডারেশনের কোকড়াঝাড় জেলা কমিটি। বাঙালি ছাত্র সংস্থাটি বলেছে, আলফা নেতার মন্তব্য সমাজে অস্থির পরিবেশের সৃষ্টি করতে পারে। শুক্রবার ফকিরাগ্রাম পুলিশ স্টেশনে এই মামলাটি দায়ের করেন ছাত্র সংস্থার কোকড়াঝাড় জেলা কমিটির সভাপতি।

বাঙালি যুব ছাত্র ফেডারেশনের পক্ষে মামলা দায়ের করে বলা হয়েছে, আলফা নেতা মৃণাল হাজরিকার এমন মন্তব্য বাঙালিদের ভাবমূর্তিতে আঘাত করেছে। এও বলা হয়েছে, আলফা নেতার আক্রমণাত্মক মন্তব্য শান্তি ও সম্প্রীতির ক্ষেত্রে এক অশনি সংকেত। এই মামলার মাধ্যমে এবিবিওয়াইএসএফ পুলিশকে অনুরোধ জানিয়েছে যে, আলফা নেতা মৃণাল হাজরিকাকে আইপিসি ১৫৩ ও ১৫৩এ-এর অধীনে গ্রেফতার করা হোক।

প্রসঙ্গত, ছাত্র ফেডারেশন মামলায় উল্লেখ করেছে যে, আলফা নেতা মৃণাল হাজরিকা বলেছেন যে, “কোন অবস্থাতেই তিনি নাগরিকত্ব সংশোধনী বিল ২০১৬ পাশ করতে দেবেন না। হুমকি দিয়ে তিনি বলেছেন, সংঘর্ষের মাধ্যমে হোক, বা অন্য কোনও উপায়ে, প্রয়োজন হলে ১৯৮৩-র সেই পরিস্থিতি নিয়ে আসা হবে।“

October 27: The Kokhrajhar District Committee of ‘All BTC Bengali Youth Students’ Federation’ (ABBYSF) lodged a FIR against ULFA leader Mrinal Hazarika for giving objectionable statement against the Bengali community, which may lead to violence. The FIR was lodged on Friday at Fakiragram Police Station by the President of the Kokhrajhar District Committee of ‘All BTC Bengali Youth Students’ Federation.’

In the said FIR lodged by Bengali Youth Students’ Federation, it was categorically stated that the derogatory statements made by ULFA leader Mrinal Hazarika has hurt the sentiments of the Bengali community. Such provocative statement made by the ULFA leader is also a threat to peace and tranquility. In their FIR, the ABBYSF has urged upon the police to immmediately arrest ULFA leader Mrinal Hazarika under IPC 153 and 153A.

Futher the ABBYSF has mentioned in their FIR the statement made by Hazarika, wherein the ULFA leader has been alleged to have said “At any cost, I shall not allow to adopt the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016. Either through massacre or through any another means, if need arises, we need to go back to the 1983 situation.”
