Final electoral roll published for Dholai bye-election
way2barak, August 21 : In a key development ahead of the upcoming Bye-Election, the Final Electoral Roll for the pre-delimited 11-Dholai (SC) Legislative Assembly Constituency in Cachar district has been officially published. This publication, conducted under the directives of the Election Commission of India, marks a significant milestone in the preparation for the electoral process.
The final roll, reflecting voter data as of 1st July 2024, is now accessible for public inspection at the Office of the District Election Officer, Cachar, the Electoral Registration Officer for 11-Dholai (SC) LAC, and all polling stations within the constituency.
As per the summary of the Final Roll, the 11-Dholai (SC) LAC comprises 208 polling stations with a total of 197,642 registered electors. This includes 99,758 male voters, 97,883 female voters, and 1 transgender voter. The roll shows an increase of 1,200 electors and a deletion of 330 compared to the Draft Roll published on 30th July 2024, which had 196,772 electors, including 99,431 male voters, 97,340 female voters, and 1 transgender voter.
