Excise conduct raids at various parts of Silchar, 3 arrested

Jan. 27: On the evening of 73rd Republic Day, Silchar Sadar Excise carried out raids at multiple location of Silchar. The raids were conducted at Fatak Bazar (opposite Naga Mandir), CR Avenue point, Gungoor Jura Mandir & Veterinary and it’s adjoining areas under Silchar Police Station. During the raids, 4 cases were detected and 3 persons were arrested for sale and manufacture of illicit liquor. Around 5 litres of illicit distilled liquor and 2.07 BL IMFL was sezied.
