Employee of postal dept, Mousumi Choudhury passes away at an early age of 49

Nov. 26: In an unfortunate turn of events, Mousumi Choudhury (Rupa), an employee of the RMS wing of Department of Postal Department, Silchar breathed her last at 8 PM on Thursday in her residence at Sahid Sunil Sarkar Lane at an early age of 49 years. Mrs Choudhury was highly diabetic and was on insulin since couple of years. Recently, her condition further deteriorated and her kidneys were also affected. Inspite of the best possible treatment, she finally passed away.

Mousumi Choudhury (Rupa) is survived by her husband Soumya Choudhury (Babu), an employee of the Agriculture Department, son Sohail Choudhury and a host of kith and kin. Her last rites were performed on Thursday night. A human being of very sober and jovial nature, her untimely demise was mourned by all those who knew her.
