Eminent Orthopaedist Dr. Arijit Dhar tests COVID-19 positive

Sept. 14: Renowned Orthopaedist, Dr. Arijit Dhar was tested COVID-19 positive on Monday morning. Dr. Dhar was detected novel coronavirus positive in Rapid Antigen Test (RAT). With this, almost hundred doctors of Cachar district have become positive as of now.

In a social media message on Monday morning, Dr. Arijit Dhar wrote, “I have been tested COVID positive by RAT today… Please keep your blessings… Those who came in contact with me, please get yourself tested for your own and family’s safety.

Till Sunday, a total of 7,708 persons in Cachar district tested COVID-19 positive. The district further registered 29 deaths due to COVID-19.
