Election authorities ask employees detailed for election duties to submit Form 12 for postal ballot
March 10: The Hailakandi election authorities have asked the district heads and principals of schools and colleges to take immediate steps for filling up of Form 12 for postal ballot for employees, teaching and non-teaching staff engaged in election duties.
Issuing a letter to this effect here on Wednesday, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Incharge Personnel Cell, Narendra Kumar Shah asked the head of offices and principals of schools and colleges to ensure officers, employees, teaching and non-teaching staff under their respective jurisdictions drafted to perform poll duties to fill up Form 12 along with photostat copies of Voter ID and appointment letter to the Ballot Paper Cell within Thursday without fail.
Shah while directing the district heads and principals of schools and colleges to ensure all employees under their control for compliance with the order, stated that ‘action on the earlier letter has not been taken properly from your end’ following which ‘very poor number of 12 forms have been received in the Postal Ballot Paper Cell. The matter has been viewed very seriously.”
