Earthquake measuring 4.1 strikes Manipur on Friday
Jan. 14: A major earthquake jolted many parts of North East India at 1.59 PM on Friday. The origin of the earthquake was in Ukhrul, Manipur. The magnitude of the quake was 4.1 (status reviewed) in the Richter Scale. The quake lasted for around a few seconds. As per National Center for Seismology (NCS), it was stated, “Earthquake of Magnitude 4.1, occurred on 20-11-2021, 13:12:15 IST, Lat: 26.07 & Long: 91.36, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: 38km WSW of Guwahati, Assam, India” However, there were no report of any casualties till the filing of this report.
