Earthquake measuring 3.5 jolts Tripura on Tuesday evening

Nov. 3: An earthquake measuring 3.5 in the Richter scale jolted Tripura at 5.28 PM on Tuesday. The earthquake had its epicentre at 38 kilometres east of Dharmanagar in Tripura. Mild tremours were also felt in some parts of Assam and adjoining states. The quake lasted for a few seconds.

The quake occurred at a depth of 38 kilometres and the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) has marked this earthquake as ‘reviewed’ while confirming the coordinates 24.39 (latitude) and 92.53 (longitude). Till the filing of this report, there was no report of any damage or injury.
