Driving out infiltrators, BJP will provide citizenship to persecuted refugees, says Amit Shah in Silchar

Congress is engaged in doing ILU ILU with Badaruddin Ajmal: Home Minister

March 26: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is committed to the issue of providing citizenship to the persecuted refugees and is confident about the implementation of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) All infiltrators will be driven out from the soil of the country. This was said by Home Minister Amit Shah during an electoral rally in Silchar on Friday. Amit Shah was here to campaign in favour of the BJP candidate Dipayan Chakraborty.

Criticising the alliance made by the Congress with AIUDF, Amit Shah said, “Badruddin Ajmal cannot represent Assam. If their alliance government is formed, than infiltration will start again, who will snatch the jobs, entitled for youths of Assam. Intruders also bring a menace of drugs with them. A special narcotics cell will be setup at Silchar to reduce the menace of drugs at Barak Valley.” He criticised Rahul Gandhi and said, “Rahul Baba said that Ajmal is the identity of Assam, which is entirely false. Congress is eager to fill Assam with infiltrators.”

Taking a dig at Priyanka Gandhi, he said, “When she comes to Assam, she wears Assamese gamosha against CAA, but when she comes to Barak Valley, her gamosha vanishes. BJP has made Assam free of agitations and terrorism. But once they bring Badaruddin Ajmal to Assam, then the process of infiltration will start again.”

Image“We will create a special economic zone at Silchar which will provide employment to whole Barak Valley. The work of Multi Modal Logistic park at Silchar will also be accelerated. Mini Secretariat has been set up at Silchar with six departments. Within next 5 years, all the department of Assam Secretariat will be functional here and you will not need to go Guwahati for official works,” asserted the Home Minister. “Even the Silchar airport will be upgraded to international standards. It’s Modi government which has completed the long pending broadgauge service,” added Mr. Shah.

Holding the hand of BJP candidate Dipayan Chakraborty Amit Shah said, “BJP has given tickets this time after deep thoughts. I would appeal you to support him and give your blessing to him. He will become a very big person. Elect him and send him to Guwahati by pressing the lotus button.”
