Driving license & vehicle registration cards will now be sent home through speed post

Nov. 11: In a significant relief to the people of the state, Assam government has now decided to send the driving license and vehicle registration cards to the applicants home address through speed post. In a press communique by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Assam on Tuesday, it was stated that, “A unique addition to the transport department of Assam government. From now on, driving license and vehicle registration cards will be available at home through speed post.” For any service related to transport department, applicants were asked to log in at parivahan.gov.in.
