সামাজিক প্রভাবভিত্তিক কর্মজীবনের দিশা নিয়ে আলোচনা আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১৫ ফেব্রুয়ারি : সামাজিক উন্নয়নমুখী কর্মজীবনের সম্ভাবনা ও দিশা নিয়ে আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে আয়োজিত হলো এক প্রাক-নিয়োগ আলোচনা সভা। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ক্যারিয়ার কাউন্সেলিং অ্যান্ড প্লেসমেন্ট সেলের, বাণিজ্য প্রশাসন বিভাগ ও গান্ধী ফেলোশিপের যৌথ উদ্যোগে “একবিংশ শতাব্দীতে সামাজিক প্রভাবভিত্তিক কর্মজীবন গঠনের পথরেখা” শীর্ষক এই আলোচনা সভা গত শুক্রবার বাণিজ্য প্রশাসন বিভাগে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
এতে বক্তা হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন পিরামল ফাউন্ডেশনের দুই কর্মকর্তা সৌম্য মুখার্জি ও দাহুন পালা।

উভয় বক্তাই সামাজিক উন্নয়ন ক্ষেত্রের কর্মসংস্থান, তরুণ পেশাজীবীদের জন্য প্রভাবসৃষ্টিকারী সুযোগ এবং বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতার নানা দিক তুলে ধরেন। বক্তারা সামাজিক নেতৃত্বের পরিবর্তিত পরিসর, তৃণমূল শাসনব্যবস্থা, ফেলোশিপ কর্মসূচি, জাতি গঠনের উদ্যোগ ও উন্নয়ন ক্ষেত্রের বাস্তব চ্যালেঞ্জ সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করেন। সরকারি ব্যবস্থার সঙ্গে কাজ করা এবং গ্রামীণ সমাজের সঙ্গে যুক্ত থাকার ক্ষেত্রে সহমর্মিতা, সমস্যা সমাধানের দক্ষতা, নেতৃত্বগুণ ও অভিযোজন ক্ষমতার গুরুত্বের ওপর বিশেষ জোর দেওয়া হয়।

অনুষ্ঠানের শুরুতে বাণিজ্য প্রশাসন বিভাগের প্রধান ও ক্যারিয়ার কাউন্সেলিং অ্যান্ড প্লেসমেন্ট সেলের ডিরেক্টর অধ্যাপক দেবমাল্য ঘোষ অতিথিদের স্বাগত জানান। সমগ্র অনুষ্ঠানটির সমন্বয় করেন প্লেসমেন্ট কো-অর্ডিনেটর সৌরভ বণিক ও কনসালট্যান্ট রশ্মি দাস। প্রসঙ্গত, এই উদ্যোগের মাধ্যমে আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীদের সামাজিক উন্নয়নমুখী কর্মজীবন সম্পর্কে সচেতন ও উদ্বুদ্ধ করার প্রয়াস গ্রহণ করা হয়।

Way2barak, February 15 : A pre-placement discussion session focusing on career pathways in the field of social development was organised at Assam University. The programme, titled ‘Roadmap to Building a Social Impact–Driven Career in the 21st Century,’ was jointly conducted by the Career Counselling and Placement Cell, the Department of Business Administration, and the Gandhi Fellowship. The event was held last Friday at the Department of Business Administration. The session featured two officials from the Piramal Foundation—Soumya Mukherjee and Dahun Pala—as speakers.

Both speakers elaborated on employment opportunities in the social development sector, impact-driven roles for young professionals, and shared insights from their field experiences. They discussed the evolving landscape of social leadership, grassroots governance, fellowship programmes, nation-building initiatives, and the practical challenges in the development sector. Special emphasis was laid on the importance of empathy, problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and adaptability while working with government systems and rural communities.

The programme began with a welcome address by Prof. Debamalya Ghosh, Head of the Department of Business Administration and Director of the Career Counselling and Placement Cell. The event was coordinated by Placement Coordinator Sourav Banik and Consultant Rashmi Das. The initiative aimed to raise awareness and inspire students of Assam University to explore meaningful career opportunities in the field of social development.
