Dholai Police seizes 17 bags of Burmese Supari & a vehicle, driver absconds

July 13: It’s again Burmese Supari most probably brought ‘illegally’ in Cachar district. However, based on a secret information, OC Manoj Pathak of Dholai Police Station in Cachar went out with his team and started to follow a Bolero pick-up van bearing No. AS01 MC 1565. The vehicle was coming from Aizawl.

Sensing danger of being apprehended, the vehicle driver jumped and fled away. Police team seized the vehicle and recovered 13 bags of Burmese Supari. The vehicle was also seized along with 13 bags of Burmese supari. Police are investigating into the matter to find out further details into the matter.
