Delhi University releases 1st cut-off lists; 100% cut-offs in certain courses at various colleges
The admission process will begin on 4 October
Oct.1: Delhi University colleges on Friday released their first cut-off list for admission in various undergraduate courses. Surprisingly, Jesus & Mary College and Hansraj College set a cut-off of 100 percent for Psychology (Honours) and B.Sc (Honours) in Computer Science respectively. St Stephens College has a 99.5% cut-off for BA Economics and Kirori Mal College has a 99% and above cut-off for several courses.
Further, Ramjas College in North Campus of Delhi University announced a 100 percent cut-off in 3 courses- Political Science, Physics and a combination of BA programme.
In the absence of Class XII Board Exams due to the pandemic, the results were declared by CBSE on the basis of internal scores. Around 2,20,000 students scored 90% and above marks in CBSE Class XII results this year and 70,000 of them scored around 95 percent or more. Out of 2.5 lakh paid applicants this year, around 9,600 had scored between 99% and 100%.The admission process will begin on 4 October
