DC Hailakandi along with Barak Valley Commissioner reviewed the law and order situation

Nov. 11: The Assam- Mizoram inter state border dispute has led to a tensed atmosphere. As part of confidence building measures, both Assam and Mizoram held many rounds of official level talks close to the inter-state border to resolve amicably the border flare up.

Meanwhile, Barak Valley Commissioner Mukesh Sahu reviewed the law and order situation with the Hailakandi district administration on Wednesday. Sahu accompanied by Deputy Commissioner, Megh Nidhi Dahal, Superintendent of Police, Pabindra Kumar Nath and other officials visited the areas along the Assam-Mizoram inter state border.
